‘Dragon Den’ Plants Dogwood

On April 17, third-grade Cub Scouts from Bloomington Pack 123’s “Dragon Den” planted a dogwood tree at Clear Creek Elementary School as part of the pack’s annual Spring Service Day and Clean-Up Project. This community service activity was done in recognition of Scouting’s 100th Anniversary year of celebration and to show appreciation by the Pack toward the Clear Creek PTO — their chartering organization.
The dogwood tree, which had been graciously donated to the Den by Bloomington Valley Nursery for this activity, was planted in the Clear Creek arboretum as part of a nature beautification project undertaken by the Den in conjunction with Scouting’s Good Turn for America.
